libasr0 software package provides asynchronous DNS resolver, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libasr0
libasr0 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libasr0 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libasr0 *
You will get with libasr0 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
